As a result, personal data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in other countries. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, Travaro aims to use appropriate lawful transfer mechanisms and protections.
9. Data security

If you provide personal data about another passenger or act on behalf of another person, you should have appropriate authority to provide that information and to instruct Travaro in relation to the claim.
Travaro's claim service is intended to be used and submitted by adults. A claim may, however, include a child passenger. Where a claim includes a child, Travaro may process that child's personal data as reasonably necessary to assess, manage, and pursue the claim based on the authority of a parent, guardian, representative, or other person legally permitted to act for the child.
Travaro may request evidence of authority where reasonably necessary.
13. Cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies
Travaro uses cookies and related technologies that are necessary to operate the website, support security and core functionality, and remember your privacy choices.
Travaro also uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors reach and use the Travaro website and, where enabled, the claim journey. Analytics information may include page and route activity, device or browser information, general usage information, and marketing or referral attribution.
Where advertising measurement technologies are enabled, they may be used to measure advertising performance and understand which marketing activity leads visitors to Travaro.
Travaro uses a consent mechanism that allows you to choose whether optional Analytics and Advertising technologies may be used. Necessary technologies remain active because they are required for core functionality and to remember your privacy preferences.
You can choose Accept all, Reject non-essential, or manage Analytics and Advertising preferences separately. You can change your choice later using Cookie settings in the Travaro website footer.
Where consent is required by applicable law, non-essential analytics and advertising storage or related processing will be controlled according to the consent choice you make.
Travaro does not intentionally send passenger names, email addresses, claim references, authentication tokens, access tokens, or uploaded claim documents to Google Analytics as analytics event data.
Google may process information in connection with Google Analytics and advertising measurement services in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices. Your consent choices are communicated to applicable Google technologies using Google Consent Mode.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Travaro service, our processing activities, legal requirements, or operational practices.
The current version will be published on the Travaro website. Where appropriate, significant changes may also be communicated through the service or other relevant channels.
